Feeding times

Feeding can be seen outside three times daily during the opening hours. The park staff spread wheat and soybeans on the ground in tune with the cheerful music. Almost all the monkeys get together every time at the feeding site. Visitors may be able to watch exciting battles for food among them.
The feeding times are basically
@@10:30 a.m.
A@12:30 p.m.
B@ 2:30 p.m.
throughout the year.
Please note that we temporarily reschedule the feeding times to try to control irregular troop movement in autumn.

Feeding experiences

Other than feeding times, you can enjoy feeding the monkeys yourself at any time during the opening hours.
Once you reach the top, the attendants show you into a hut with wire netting covering the windows. The bags of food for the monkeys are all available for \ 100. Please note visitors are not allowed to bring in any food for the monkeys. You can choose from several kinds of foods, including slices of apples, bananas or sweet potatoes, chestnuts and peanuts. The monkeys hang onto the outside the wire netting and reach inside to get the food. You can have a close look at how they eat food.
The way of feeding is exact opposite of what is adopted in general zoos.
